Please support us through your donations or your Smile Amazon purchases!

We are just a small rescue and wee need help to save the lives of dogs in trouble. We depend upon donations to keep doing so. Any amount is appreciated!

Chihuahuas of the Valley is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization and therefore all donations are tax-deductible

We have some huge vet bills to pay and our rescue dogs need food, flea prevention, beds, medication and other items. We also have two dogs in foster care that are in desperate need of some dental work.

In addition to that we took in two more urgent dogs from a high kill shelter here in California. There will be some unforeseen expenses because to our surprise one of them is pregnant!
The second dog needs to be spayed and they both are treated for kennel cough and will need a dental in the future.

If you are hesitant to donate money please check out our Amazon Wish List
where you will find all kind of items in every prize range that are much needed.

Thank you so very much for your support!

Jules is up for adoption

Los Angeles, CA
Jules came to us as an owner surrender. She is six years old and with 5-7lbs small for a Shih Tzu..
She is great with all humans and dogs but she has extreme separation anxiety.
Her owner works full time and she tried crating her, meds and numerous other things to make her feel safe when she leaves but Jules is just hurting herself and destroying the house.
So we will need a home for Jules with someone who is either home a great deal of the time, has other animals for her to be with or is experienced in dog training.
Jules is absolutely wonderful around people - she will sit in your lap for hours and she is great with dogs of all sizes.
Jules is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Gina is up for adoption

Los Angeles, CA
Gina is about eight years old and with 8lbs a bit overweight.
She is a mellow girl that likes to take naps and hang out with other dogs. She is initially shy but as soon as she found her human she is very thankful and loving.
Gina would do great in an adult household with other calm dogs and no small children because she can be kind of skittish at times.
Sadly she was severely neglected by her former owner so that all her teeth had to be extracted therefore she can only eat soft and wet food.
Gina is up to date on shots, has a microchip and is spayed.
If you want to know more about Gina please contact us at
Chihuhauhasofthevalley@yahoo.com

Cold treat

It's getting hot out there so this is an awesome way to give your pooches a healthy and cool treat that is easily made. We would suggest to use organic peanut butter that is low on sodium.
They will love it!

Amelia is an adorable purse size Chihuahua who is about eight years old. She is very friendly and adores human companionship, She would love to have someone who carries her around and gives her a lot of attention. She is a great snuggler and would be happy to be with her human the whole day. Amelia likes to go on short walks but is also happy to just hang out on the couch and lay in the sun. She doesn't even have 6lbs. She is great with other dogs but because of her small size we wouldn't recommend her for small children.
